n8n
n8n describes itself as an «AI Workflow Automation Platform» and combines visual workflow building with code steps for complex automations. The AI Agent node connects language models and tools into agents, which can delegate tasks to other agents within a workflow through the AI Agent Tool node.
The actively maintained Community Edition can be self-hosted and uses TypeScript and Vue.js. It is licensed under the Sustainable Use License and is source-available, not open source. The rights for internal business use need to be distinguished from those of the additional editions.

Source-Available Enterprise Editions & Cloud Offering
Depending on the plan, the paid editions add SSO, projects and sharing of workflows and credentials, external secret managers, environments, and log streaming, among other things. For the exact assignment to plans, the project refers to its pricing page. Free registration of the Community Edition also unlocks some additional features and does not make the license open source.
The hosted n8n Cloud service is a separate operating offering. Neither a free nor a paid plan establishes open-source rights to the code it uses.
The publicly viewable files with «.ee.» in the file name or «.ee» in the directory name are not covered by the Sustainable Use License but by the non-open n8n Enterprise License. Running them in production requires a valid Enterprise license that covers the respective use. According to the Enterprise license, copying and modifying for development and testing is allowed without a subscription. This does not grant a general right to resell or distribute the enterprise software.
License Restrictions
The n8n Sustainable Use License 1.0 is not an open-source license. It allows use and modification for your own internal business purposes as well as for non-commercial or personal purposes. Internal automations within a company are therefore allowed. Distributing it or making it available to others, however, is only permitted free of charge and for non-commercial purposes. Selling access to n8n as a hosted service is not covered.
License, copyright, and other notices from the licensor must not be altered, removed, or obscured. When distributing the software, you must include the license terms and clearly mark your own modifications.
