Source-Available Enterprise Features
According to the pricing overview, the enterprise features add SSO, SCIM, additional roles and permissions, audit logs, and integration with external secret managers, among other things. They are available for self-hosting and in the corresponding cloud plans. The license split assigns these components to a proprietary license, not to the MIT license of the Community Edition.
The source code of these additional features is publicly viewable. According to the license split in the repository, the non-open license covers the directories packages/ee/ and packages/server/api/src/app/ee. The rest of the project's own code is not affected and remains under MIT.
For production use of the enterprise components, the Enterprise license requires a valid license for the appropriate number of user seats and compliance with the agreed contract terms. Copying and modifying them for development and testing is allowed without a subscription. Beyond that, there are no general rights to distribute, sublicense, or sell these components.
