Hosting & White-Label License
According to the README, the self-hostable codebase already includes the Pro and Enterprise features of the hosted offering. The additional paid white-label license allows you to remove the branding from customer-facing views. It is neither a separate open-source edition nor evidence of further exclusive invoicing features.
License Restrictions
Invoice Ninja's Elastic License 2.0 is not an open-source license. Under its terms, it allows you to use, modify and distribute the available source code, including for your own business invoicing. It does not allow a hosted or managed service for third parties that gives them access to a substantial part of the software's features.
You may not move, change, disable or circumvent the license key functionality. You may not remove or hide features protected by license keys. License, copyright and other notices from the licensor must remain unchanged and visible. When you distribute the software, you must include the license terms and clearly mark your own changes.
