Crater

Crater is self-hosted invoicing software for quotes, invoices, payments and customer management.

You can run it On-Premises / Self-hosted. The software is licensed under AGPL v3 and uses PHP and MySQL. There is currently no evidence of active maintenance for the open-source application linked here.

Maintenance Status

As of October 15, 2026, the official commit histories show the latest change on master from February 19, 2023, and on develop from March 16, 2022. The newest version in the release history is 6.0.6 from March 2022. This is no official discontinuation, but it provides no evidence of ongoing maintenance. The current vendor website promotes an embedded AR/AP platform whose features do not automatically belong to the earlier open-source web app.
