TypeScript Developer for Web Applications & Frontends

HR software with TypeScript and Lit. From 2020 to early 2025, I planned and developed a comprehensive HR application for a company. I started alone and led a small team from late 2022. Features include time-dependent personal and company data, recruiting, tasks, contract management, and workflows.

The frontend used TypeScript, web components implemented with Lit, and TailwindCSS. It communicated with the Go backend through Protocol Buffers. My work covered both the application and the infrastructure for SaaS operations. More about the HR project.

I consider the interface together with its underlying data and workflows. This includes input validation, loading states, and handling errors in API calls. Shared components help implement recurring interactions consistently throughout the application.

I can take on a frontend or individual views and components within an existing application. I work with your development team and, where needed, with the people responsible for design and interaction concepts. Before starting, we clarify the existing stack and the division between frontend and backend.

1. We discuss the affected workflows and review the existing frontend, APIs, and design specifications.
2. I plan the required components and clarify data flows and error cases with the backend team.
3. I implement the interface in transparent steps and check interactions with realistic data.
4. After a joint review, we integrate the changes and record decisions important for further development.

You receive a TypeScript frontend or the agreed extension for your application. The components are connected to the backend and support the agreed interactions, with clear feedback during loading, saving, and errors.
