Hermes Agent
Hermes Agent is a personal AI assistant from Nous Research that carries out tasks using tools. You can use it through the terminal, the desktop, and messaging apps such as Telegram, Discord, and Slack. It retains knowledge across sessions, creates reusable skills from completed tasks, and runs scheduled tasks via cron, delivering the results to connected channels.
The actively maintained, Python-based software is licensed under the MIT License and runs locally or on your own server. In the free software, the optional web dashboard supports SSO by connecting your own OpenID Connect identity provider.
Nous Research also offers paid access to models and tools through Nous Portal. This is not a paid edition of the agent. Connected external services may process data.
