The actively maintained application is built on PHP with Laravel, supports MySQL among other databases, and is self-hosted. The core is licensed under AGPL-3.0. According to the project, the paid official modules are also provided under AGPL-3.0.

Paid Open-Source Extensions
The official modules add single sign-on, workflows, custom fields, and further communication channels, among other features. The SAML SSO module is a separately available extension, not a separate enterprise edition. The AGPL license of the modules is distinct from the price for obtaining and maintaining them.
