Source-Available Enterprise Features

The Enterprise feature list includes an authentication portal for organizations, embedded editors and their white-label features, and features for 21 CFR Part 11, among others. The activation documentation describes activation per installation and, in some cases, also per organization. The license boundary follows the Enterprise labeling and the associated license files, not merely the presence of a license key check.

The source code of the Enterprise components is viewable but not openly licensed. The Documenso Commercial License requires an agreement and a valid Enterprise subscription for production use of the components it covers. Development and testing are allowed without a subscription. The license grants no general rights to publish, distribute, sublicense, or sell. The AGPL components it explicitly excludes and the open-source core remain unaffected.

Alternative Licensing

According to its license overview, Documenso offers an alternative paid license for proprietary integrations. This license option does not change the rights to a copy obtained under AGPL-3.0.
