XWiki
XWiki is a company wiki for knowledge bases, documentation, and public websites. Teams edit content with a visual editor or wiki syntax, search pages and attachments, and manage versions and access rights. Structured data and forms let you build your own applications inside the wiki.
The actively maintained software is built on Java and JavaScript and licensed under LGPL-2.1. You can run it yourself or use it through XWiki Cloud. XWiki SAS offers paid hosting, support, and customization.

SSO & MCP
SSO is available through the free, LGPL-licensed OpenID Connect Authenticator. You need to install and configure the extension separately.
The MCP server of the LLM Application is also an extension that you install separately. It lets AI assistants search and read wiki content and, once approved, edit it. The access rights of the account in use apply. The source code is licensed under LGPL-2.1 or later.
Paid Open-Source Extensions
XWiki SAS bundles additional applications and support in XWiki Pro. The Calendar Application (Pro) adds shared calendars, events, and iCalendar import and export. It is available individually or in the Pro package and is the reason this entry is listed in the «Calendar» category. The extension is not part of the free base installation. Its source code is licensed under LGPL-2.1 or later, even though the offered package requires paid activation.
The paid Microsoft Entra ID OpenID Connect (OIDC) extension adds an Entra ID integration with group synchronization. The official store also lists it as LGPL-2.1.
