Proprietary Add-On Features
According to the plan comparison, the paid plans add returns management and product customization, among other features, and higher tiers add B2B components, purchase approvals, and advanced search. These features are unlocked through Shopware Commercial. They are not generally part of the MIT-licensed Community Edition.
The terms and conditions separate the Community Edition under MIT from the proprietary licensed software of the paid plans. The additional rights are tied to the respective agreement. Restrictions of the Shopware account, such as the GMV limit for Community stores, are also distinct from the rights to a copy obtained under MIT. The MIT License itself does not limit a store's revenue.
