Technical behavior
Link Checker Pro respects the robots.txt file, including the crawl-delay directive. You can use the MB-LinkChecker user-agent to control the crawler.
The Joomla extension and WordPress plugin communicate the URL of your website and the client type to the external service. The service then crawls the website like a normal visitor and returns the found broken links, images and videos.

The quota counts all URLs the crawler has to check. Internal URLs, external URLs, images and videos count because each target has to be requested and evaluated before the result can be reported.
