Sitemap Generator: Free Starter Package for Bloggers

I'm a WordPress plugin developer with a Joomla background based in Switzerland and relatively new to the WordPress community. I've developed a XML sitemap generator for WordPress and like to offer you a special starter package for bloggers.

The basic plan for the Sitemap Generator is free, but there are also paid plans with additional features which I like to offer you for free for you and your audience.

What does the Sitemap Generator offer?

The main advantage of my Sitemap Generator over the competitors are the low computation costs. The Sitemap Generator uses an external server, operated by me, to crawl the target website and creates the sitemap from the crawl data. This means that the generator acts like a normal visitor to the target website and all the heavy work is done by my server. Another advantage of this principle of operation is that the Sitemap Generator works with all WordPress plugin out-of-the-box.

The Sitemap Generator further indexes nearly all indexable filetypes (.pdf, .doc, .xls and so forth), respects the robots.txt (including the crawl-delay directive) and has support for noindex meta elements. For customers of the paid plans also images and videos are added to the sitemap according to the image and video sitemap protocol extension. However the video sitemap currently just supports HTML5 video elements. Support for YouTube and Vimeo videos will be added soon.
